La difficile costruzione della chiesa nuova nell'abbazia di San Martino delle scale: contrasti, testimonianze, perizie (1576-1598)

A partire dal 1561 nel complesso benedettino di San Martino delle Scale, presso Palermo, si avvia la costruzione di una nuova chiesa, portata a compimento e inaugurata soltanto nel 1602. Una variegata documentazione d’archivio restituisce i principali passaggi del tormentato iter esecutivo dell’opera, articolato in più tappe che vedono l’avvicendarsi di diversi sodalizi di maestri costruttori al vertice del cantiere. Testimonianze, memoriali e relazioni presentati e discussi, tra 1576 e 1598, in liti giudiziarie intentate dai monaci nei riguardi dei maestri costruttori offrono interessanti spunti per una più ampia riflessione sul tema delle perizie. The present article focuses on ff. cxlr-cviiir of the manuscript Miscel?lània 26, Arxiu de la Corona d’Aragó, Barcelona, which contain the only extant version of the fifteenth-century Catalan translation of the French Danse macabre. The article contains a philological study of this section of the manuscript, with particular attention to the relationship between the Catalan version of the Danse macabre and its French sources: this study serves as an introduction to a new critical edition of the Catalan translation proposed in the second part of the article. The pluridisciplinary team, called Gunzo, has been set up in the Engineering School Arts et Métiers Paristech in Cluny (France) to prepare a digital mock-up of the greatest Romanesque abbey church of the Christendom (12th cent.). Unfortunately this building was destroyed after the French Revolution. Due to the only 8% remaining now, the visit is difficult to understand. It was necessary to organize didactic tools to respond to the touristic affluence.

12 grudnia 2017 r. zdjęto krzyż z kulą z wieży kościoła parafialnego pw. św. Marcina w Stanicy – ostatniej świątyni zbudowanej przez opactwo cystersów w Rudach przed jego kasatą w 1810 r. W kapsule czasu znajdował się okolicznościowy zapis, sporządzony 20 września 1802 r. W oparciu o lekturę odkrytego dokumentu oraz dostępne opracowania na temat rudzkiego opactwa, autor omawia sytuację opactwa na początku burzliwego XIX w., a także charakteryzuje stan osobowy rudzkiego konwentu. The representatives of the liturgical movement knew that the renewal of the religious life of the faithful required a proper definition of the essence of the liturgy and of what the Church is. Then, they not only distanced themselves from the rubricist view of the liturgy, but also developed its new understanding and the importance of the faithful's active participation in celebrations.
